A district police chief has been killed in a bomb blast Afghanistan’s eastern Paktia province, officials said Wednesday.
Sarwar Hasan Kheil, police chief of Ahmadaba district, was killed in roadside bombing at 10:00p.m. on Tuesday while patrolling.
Provincial police spokesman Sardar Wali Tabasom said that another police was also killed in the bombing.
Hasan Kheil was serving in the post since three years ago.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
