Afghanistan’s intelligence agency said on Tuesday that two Daesh militants who were aiming to attack a hospital and a media outlet in Kabul were arrested.
The militants had been given instructions to carry out suicide attacks targeting Mawla Ali hospital in Golayee Dawakhana in west of Kabul and a media outlet in the city, the National Directorate of Security said in a statement.
The militants were identified as Abdul Latif and Ahmadullah, who are residents of Shakar Dara district of Kabul, the statement said.
They had been recruited by Daesh militants identified as Ahmad, Abu Omar and Khyber.
