Afghanistan’s Senate approved Tuesday the proposed 428 billion afghanis national budget for 2020.
The plan includes 289 billion afghanis for ordinary expenditures and 139 billion afghanis for development purposes.
Finance Ministry said that it assured senators that their reforming views and recommendations on the budget would be taken into account based according to laws and resources.
It said that the ministry would soon present the budget proposal to the lower house of the parliament Wolesi Jirga for approval.
