A passenger bus ran off road and fell into river in Afghanistan’s northern Baghlan province on Monday, killing at least one person and injuring 40 others, officials said.
The incident happened in Girdab area of Baghlan-e-Markazi district, said Javed Basharat, a spokesman for provincial police.
He said that police were transferring the injured people to hospital.
The official blamed negligence of the driver for the crash.
