Afghanistan’s intelligence agency said on Wednesday special forces carried out raids on three hideouts of Daesh in Kabul last night.
The hideouts were located in 8th and 15th districts and Bagrami district, the National Directorate of Security said in a statement.
The operations involved special forces of NDS, army and police.
Two militants and three special forces were killed in the operations.
Heavy weapons, tools to make car bombs, suicide vests, explosives and improvised explosive devices were seized during the operations.
NDS said that Afghans forces’ timely action prevented several terrorist attacks.
