Afghanistan’s all-rounder has announced retirement from Test cricket.
The 34-years-old, however, has said that he will continue playing white-ball cricket for Afghanistan.
Nabi announced his retirement from Test cricket as Afghanistan playing the five-day match against hosts Bangladesh.
It is Afghanistan’s third Test match in history.
Nabi, who formerly captained Afghanistan, said that it was his dream to help his country obtain Test status.
“I want that instead of me a youngster gets to play since the emerging youngsters are performing well in domestic cricket. Therefore I want them to get the chance they deserve so that we have a good Test team in the future as well,” Nabi said.
