A 12-year-old girl who had been kidnapped in Kabul nearly two weeks ago was rescued last night, police said Sunday.
The victim had been taken by kidnappers 12 days ago from Police District 4 of the city.
Police secured release of the girl in an operation in PD 17 of the city.
Two people suspected of involvement in the kidnapping were arrested following a gunbattle in the area.
