A US vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan’s southern Kandahar province on Saturday, a spokesman for Resolute Support confirmed.
The blast happened in Dand district.
“We are assessing the situation and will provide more information as it becomes available,” the spokesman said.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
