An Afghan government official was shot dead in the country’s central-eastern Ghazni province on Tuesday, authorities said.
Nasrullah Syasi, head of martyrs and disabled department in Ghazni, was killed in Police District 2 of the provincial capital, also Ghazni, while he was on his way to office, said Arif Noori, a spokesman for provincial governor.
The official was killed by a silencer gun.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
