Two American soldiers were killed after a helicopter crashed in Afghanistan on Wednesday, US military said.
The helicopter crashed in a mountain in Pangram village of Charkh district in central Logar province, district governor Khalilullah Kamal said.
US Forces in Afghanistan in a statement said the cause of the crash was under investigation, however, “preliminary reports do not indicate it was caused by enemy fire.”
Taliban claimed that the helicopter was shot down by its fighters and exaggerated casualty toll.
