At least 28 Afghans were killed when two mini-trucks they were travelling in collided in Iran’s southeast Sistan and Baluchistan province on Thursday, Iranian authorities said.
Twenty-one others were wounded in the incident which happened 2:30a.m. on road between Sarawan and Khash districts, said Kolyond, head of Emergency Medical Services.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Khash district, he said.
Sistan and Baluchistan is located near the border with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
