Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry is proposing a ban on flights from India as part of measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
The ministry said that it is also proposing restrictions on passenger movements at Iran and Pakistan borders as well as preventing gatherings.
The ministry is also proposing re-operationalization of emergency committees to fight coronavirus.
This comes amid warning by authorities that a third wave of the virus may hit Afghanistan.
