British football club Hereford have signed Afghan national Maziar Kouhyar ahead of their FA Trophy tie.
The 23-year-old midfielder started playing in British clubs by first joining Coventry City.
He was the first Afghan footballer to play professionally in the UK.
He then made 21 appearances between 2016 and 2019 for Walsall in League One.
However, he has been away from the game for 18 months with an injury.
