An explosion went off in Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday.
The blast happened around 4:00pm at Parwan Bostan square in Police District 11.
It targeted a vehicle of counter-narcotics law enforcement unit of the interior ministy, said Basir Mujahid, head of press unit for city police.
Five personnel were killed while seven more wounded in the bombing which was triggered by explosives placed in a bicycle, he said.
“I just entered my house after returning from office when the blast took place, I came out and saw bodies in the vehicle,” a witness said.
There was no immedaite clain of responsibility for the bombing.
