Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has accepted resignation of the country’s intelligence chief Masoom Stanikzai.
Stanikzai’s resignition was accepted over an NDS operation that ‘brutally’ killed several youths from same family in eastern city of Jalalabad, President Ashraf Ghani said in a meeting with top security officials.
Ghani said that killing of civilians was unacceptable and he would seriously pursue the incident.
