Head of Afghanistan National Standards Authority was arrested while receiving $100,000 bribe last night, officials said Thursday.
Two of his colleagues, including his technical deputy projects manager, were also arrested in connection with the case, the Attorney General’s Office said in a statement.
The arrests happened after an entrepreneur contacted AGO to complain about the demand for bribe, which was $200,000, according to AGO.
