A would-be suicide bomber was killed before reaching target in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktia province on Monday.
The militant, who was wearing a suicide vest, was shot by police at 11:20a.m. on road in front of a hospital in provincial capital ciy, Gardez, said Sardar Wali Tabasom, a spokesman for provincial police.
He said that the militant was killed, adding there were no other casualties. The militant’s target was not clear, he said.
