Afghanistan defeated hosts England by seven wickets on Monday to register their third consecutive win in the Physical Disability World Cricket Series.
Batting first after winning the toss, England posted 159-8 as they played all the mandated 20 overs at Elizabethans Cricket Club in Worcester.
Afghanistan chased down the 160-run target in 15.5 overs.
Ahmadullah Ahmadzai slammed 56 off 29 balls while Ashraf Khan Karimi and Jamil Shah Mandozai scored 39 and 32 respectively.
For England, Callum Flynn’s 32 was their highest individual score.
Shoaib Muhsin picked up three wickets for Afghanistan while Shirin Agha claimed two.
It was Afghanistan’s third consecutive win in the tournament. Earlier, they defeated Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Afghanistan will next play India on Thursday.
