At least four people were killed when a truck bomb exploded in Afghanistan’s eastern Laghman province on Wednesday, an official said.
Thirty-seven more were wounded in the bombing which happened close to police headquarters in Alisheng district around 5:50a.m., a member of provincial council told 1TV.
He said that the deaths included three security forces and one civilian. Those injured included 31 civilians and six forces.
Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Interior Ministry, confirmed death of three and wounding of 30 others in the incident.
Asadullah Dawlatzai, a spokesman for provincial governor, said that 20 people were wounded when glasses broke down at a nearby madrassa or religious seminary.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
