Six civilians have been killed in an explosion in Kapisa province, north of Afghan capital Kabul, officials said Wednesday.
Interior Ministry’s spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said that the victims were killed by a Taliban bomb in Baez Kheil Afghania village of Nijrab district around 4:20p.m. on Tuesday.
The group, however, said that they were killed by mortars fired by government forces.
The deaths include two women, two boys and two girls, Rahimi said. Two others including a women were wounded, he added.
