India defeated Afghanistan by three wickets in Under-19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka on Monday.
Afghanistan, who opted to bat after winning the toss, made 124 before they were all out in 40.1 overs.
India chased it down in 38.4 overs.
India’s Sushant Kumar Mishra picked up most wickets (5) in the match. Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmad Lakanwal claimed four wickets.
Thirty-nine from Afghanistan’s Abidullah Taniwal was the highest individual score in the match.
It was Afghanistan’s first loss in the tournament. Their two wins came against Pakistan and Kuwait.
