Three bomb blasts went off in Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, killing at least one person, police said.
One of the blasts happened in Sarak-e-Naw of Chelston area, PD 7, of the city around 6:30 a.m., killing one person and wounding two others including a civilian, said Ferdaws Faramarz, a spokesman for city’s police.
The blast was triggered by a magnetic bomb which was attached to a car, he said.
Less than hour later, two people were injured when a roadside bomb struck an Afghan forces vehicle in PD 15 of the city, Faramarz said.
A third explosion also happened in PD 5 of the city, causing no casualties, police said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombings.
