A suicide bomb exploded in Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, killing at least 10 people, officials said.
The blast happened at 10:10a.m. on main road near Abdulhaq square, said Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Interior Ministry.
The blast was triggered by explosive-laden Townace van, he said.
At least 10 civilians were killed while 42 others were wounded in the bombing. Twelve civilian vehicles were damaged, he said.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying the target was foreign forces’ convoy entering a facility of Afghan intelligence agency.
The attack comes three days after a Taliban tractor bomb near Green Village, an international compound in Kabul, killed 16 and wounded 119.
