A car bomb exploded in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday, killing a local police commander and two others, an official said.
Ataullah Khogyani, a spokesman for provincail governor, said that the suicide attack happened at the main square of Kuz Kunar district. The local police commander who was killed in the blast was identified as Mir Zaman.
The bombing injured also five other local policemen, the official said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
