Seven labourers were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in Afghanistan’s northern Kunduz province on Monday evening, police said.
Six more were wounded in the blast which happened as a three-wheeler carrying the labourers was struck by the bomb in Taliban-controlled Jungle Bashi village of Khan Abad district, said Hijratullah Akbari, a spokesman for provincial police.
He said that the victims were residents of Arghund village of Argo district in Badakhshan province.
The injured people were taken to hospital for treatment and two of them were in critical condition, he said.
The official blamed the Taliban for the blast. The group has yet to make comment.
