Traveling into and out of Kabul is continuing by road despite a lockdown on the capital announced due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Up to 1,000 travelers enter and exit Kabul daily through the main gate in Pul-i-Charkhi area in the east of the city, according to officials.
It comes despite Kabul governor saying three days ago that roads leading to the capital will be closed from Sunday.
Apart from main roads, there are secondary roads connected to the capital, which have made it difficult for authorities to supervise enforcement of the lockdown.
The lockdown in Kabul was first declared last month for three weeks. On Saturday, it was extended for two more weeks with strict measures.
Afghanistan has registered 665 cases of coronavirus and 21 deaths attributed to it.
