Five rockets were fired at Bagram Airfield, the largest US base in Afghanistan, on Thursday morning, officials said.
No one was hurt during the attack, NATO’s mission in Afghanistan said.
It said that Afghan security forces were investigating the incident.
Tariq Aryan, a spokesman for Interior Ministry, said the firing happened from a car in Qalacha area.
He said that the car was burnt following the firing.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
