Wednesday’s deadly attack on Sikh temple in Afghan capital Kabul has been carried out by Haqqani network, a government source told 1TV.
Afghan forces had received intelligence reports few days ago that Haqqani network had been seeking to hit Indian targets including its embassy in Kabul and other offices in Afghanistan, according to the source.
The Afghan government took measures to protect Indian missions in Aghanistan.
Gunmen attacked Sikh temple in Shor Bazaar in the central part of Kabul on Wednesday morning.
Sikh MP Narender Singh Khalsa said that all those at the temple were killed.
The Taliban which the Haqqani network is allied with has denied involvement in the assault.
