A 51-year-old Afghan man has died in Saudi Arabia from coronavirus, first death in the country, its health ministry said on Tuesday.
The man’s health deteriorated quickly after reporting to a hospital emergency room in Medina city and he died on Monday night, Health Ministry spokesman Mohammed Abdelali told a news conference.
Saudi Arabia has confirmed 562 cases of coronavirus.
