Four coalition servicemembers have been infected with coronavirus, NATO mission in Afghanistan said on Tuesday.
The servicemembers were newly-arrived in Afghanistan and were in a precautionary screening facility when they became symptomatic, Resolute Support said in a statement.
They were moved to isolation and were tested .
The statement said those who have been in contact with the them would be quarantined.
The statement said that there are approximately 1500 servicemembers and civilians living in screening facilities as a preventive measure, most of them newly-arriving or returning from leave.
A total of 38 RS personnel with flu-like symptoms are in isolation and receiving medical care.
