At least 76 Afghan forces have been killed since the United States and the Taliban signed a peace deal over three weeks ago, official data showed on Monday.
The Taliban carried out large and small scale attacks in 16 provinces during the period.
More than 20 Afghan forces were injured since the deal.
The ministries of defense and interior affairs said that the Taliban were violating commitments they made in the deal.
Recently, the ministry of defense said that Afghan forces were allowed to strike Taliban militants plotting attacks.
Security officials are now warning that the government would take more serious decisions if the Taliban do not reduce violence.
