Afghanistan’s health ministry said on Tuesday it detected two more positive cases of coronavirus in the country.
The new cases were discovered in the provinces of Herat in the west and Samangan in the north, said Wahidullah Mayar, a spokesman for Public Health Ministry.
With that, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Afghanistan rose to seven including five in Herat and two in Samangan.
All the seven have been infected with the virus in neighboring Iran.
