Afghanistan claimed an unassailable 2-0 lead over Ireland with a 21-run victory in their second match of their T20I series in India on Sunday.
Asghar Afghan (49) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (35) helped Afghanistan post 184-4 in 20 overs.
In reply, Ireland made 163-6, with their captain Andy Balbirnie scoring 46 before being dismissed by Rashid Khan.
Harry Tector (37) was next major run scorer for Ireland. He was dismissed by Mujeeb Ur Rahman who totally picked up three wickets. Mujeeb was declared man of the match.
Afghanistan will look to complete a whitewash at Greater Noida on Tuesday.
