An explosion went off at a football ground in Afghanistan’s eastern Khost province on Monday evening, wounding at least three people, police said.
The blast happened in Zanikheil village of Nadir Shah Kot district, said Adil Haidar, a spokesman for provincial police.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
It comes as the Taliban have reportedly said that attacks will be brought back to previous levels, following a seven-day Reduction in Violence that led to the signing of peace deal with the United States.
