At least six people were killed when a car ran off road and overturned in Afghanistan’s southern Kandahar province on Saturday morning, officials said.
Twelve others were wounded in the accident which happened in Maiwand district, said Mohammad Naseri, deputy head of provincial traffic department.
The car was en route from Gereshk district to provincial capital, also Kandahar.
Those killed included three women, two children and a man.
Naseri blamed the driver’s negligence for the incident.
