Nine drug addicts were shot dead in Afghan capital Kabul last night, police said on Sunday.
The incident happened in Qurugh Mountain in Police District 6 of the city, Ferdaws Faramarz, a spokesman for Kabul police, told 1TV.
One addict was injured in the incident, he said.
It was not immediately clear who were the attackers or what was the motive behind the attack.
Faramarz said that police had launched investigation into incident.
