Six Taliban militants were killed in an infighting in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, officials said.
Seven other militants were wounded in the clash which happened in Nad Ali district, Nawab Shah Zadran, deputy spokesman for the army’s 215 Maiwand Corps, told 1TV.
The clash happened after a 14-member Taliban squad attempted to attack an army outpost, but it faced another squad of the group, Zadran said.
Fighters of the other squad were wearing military uniform, he said.
Taliban has yet to make comment.
