Three children were killed when an explosion struck a funeral ceremony in Afghanistan’s eastern Laghman province on Monday, officials said.
Nine others were wounded in the blast which happened in Dawlat Shah district, said Gulzar Sangarwal, a member of provincial council.
Asadullah Dawlatzai, a spokesman for provincial governor, confirmed death of three and wounding of seven others in the blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
