A bomb exploded in Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, killing at least one person and wounding two others, police said.
The blast happened around 9:40a.m. in an area between Paghman district and Police District 5.
The explosion was triggered by a magnetic bomb attached to a vehicle.
One civilian was killed while two others including a woman were wounded as a result of the explosion.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
It comes a day after US peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad concluded his visit to Kabul, where he met government officials and politicians outside the government, after renewed talks with the Taliban.
“We’re approaching an important stage in the Afghan peace process,” Khalilzad said on Twitter.
