A roadside bomb targeted a convoy of Afghan forces in southern Helmand province on Saturday, killing at least one.
The convoy was on its way to Marjah district when the blast happened and included also journalists, said Omar Zwak, a spokesman for provincial governor.
He said that three forces were wounded in the bombing.
A source, however, told 1TV that a commander of border forces, identified as Zahir Gul Muqbil, lost his life in the blast.
Televisionchannel Shamshad said that its reporter Sardar Mohammad Sarwari was wounded in the bombing.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
