Afghanistan secured 158th position in a worldwide nationality ranking in 2018, according to a new research.
The Kälin and Kochenov’s Quality of Nationality Indexexamines factors including the freedom to travel and settle, peace and stability, economic strength and human development to come up with a score
In the latest assessment, Afghanistan scored 15.4 out of 100.
In 2017, Afghan nationality had been ranked 159th with a score of 15.1, while in 2016, it was 166th.
Afghanistan was ahead of Somalia and below South Sudan in the ranking.
France topped the ranking for eighth consecutive year, ahead of Netherlands and Germany.
