Two Afghan prosecutors were killed by attackers on the outskirts of Kabul on Saturday, an official said.
The prosecutors were travelling from Kabul to their duty in neighbouring Parwan province when they were attacked in Qara Bagh district, said Jamshid Rasooli, a spokesman for Attorney General’s Office.
Two other prosecutors were wounded in the attack, he said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Attacks on prosecutors have increased in recent months.
Earlier this month, officials said that a total of 14 prosecutors and employees of Attorney General’s Office had been killed over the last seven months.
