Two people were killed in a bomb blast while they were building school in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, officials said.
Five others workers were killed in the blast which was triggered by a bomb placed in the school under construction in Kot district, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement.
Two of the injured were transferred to hospitals in the district while three others were shifted to those in provincial capital city, Jalalabad, the statement said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
