A US soldier fell unconscious after a roadside bomb targeted their convoy in Afghanistan’s southern Kandahar province last night, officials said Sunday.
The blast targeted patrolling US troops in Dand district, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement.
One soldier fell unconscious following the blast and he was back to work after receiving medical care, the statement said.
There were no other casualties, according to the statement.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing.
