At least fourteen people were killed and nearly 150 others wounded when a car bomb exploded in Afghan capital Kabul on Wednesday, officials said.
The blast happened at 9:04am at the entrance of a police station in district 6 near Pul-i-Sokhta, west of the city, said Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Interior Ministry.
He said that 14 people including four police were killed in the blast. 145 others including 92 civilians were injured.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
It comes as the Taliban and the United States are close to reaching an agreement following multiple rounds of talks in Doha.
