A blast at a market in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore killed at least seven people and wounded 17 others on Thursday, local media reported.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear.
However, Pakistani television channel Geo News reported that the explosion has been caused by a timed device with 8-10 kilograms of explosives used.
According to Geo News, the blast took place inside a building which was under construction.
Security forces cordoned off the area and people were not being allowed to leave or enter.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
Pakistan has been struck by a wave of terrorist attacks in recent weeks, killing at least 130 people across the country and leaving hundreds wounded.
