Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs in the 21st match of Indian Premier League T20 on Wednesday.
Opting to field first after winning the toss, Sunrisers at Hyderabad put up a total of 191-4.
Skipper David Warner fell on his 4 in the second over by Chirs Morris who picked up all four wickets for Daredevil alone.
However, Kane Williamson and Shikar Dhawan scored 89 and 70 each respectively to achieve Sunrisers’ second highest score in the season.
In the chase of 192-run target, Zaheer Khan-led Daredevils were restricted to 176-5 as they played all the mandated overs and Shreyas Iyer’s 50 (not out) went in vain.
Mohammad Siraj took two wickets for SRH, while Siddarth Kaul and Yuvraj Singh claimed one each.
Afghan player Rashid Khan who is among leading wicket-takers in the tournament with nine, saw his first match without a wicket.
Having won four of six matches they have played since the start of IPL on April 5, Sunrisers sit on second place on the points table, after Kolkata Knight Riders.
Their next encounter will be against Supergiants at Pune on Saturday.
