Ireland won the third One-Day International (ODI) on Sunday, beating Afghanistan by six wickets.
Ireland have breathed some life into a one-sided series and kept their chances alive with that win.
PR Stirling and A Balbirnie were top performers for Ireland as the pair helped the visitors to chase down the set total of 265 runs with contributions of NJ O'Brien and GC Wilson.
Stirling came one run short of completing his century (99 off 114 balls), while A Balbirnie scored 85 off 74 balls.
Afghanistan were not at their best while batting, they were 97 for 6 at one point but the partnership between Gulbadin Naib and Rashid Khan gave them some hope, the pair added 96 runs to the total of 264 runs with quickfire 50 of Shafiqullah Shafaq at the end.
Gulbadin Naib scored 51 off 76 balls and Rashid Khan hit 56 off 50.
However, Afghanistan still lead Ireland 2-1 in the five ODI match series, the hosts will have another chance to grab the series when they play their fourth match on Wednesday, March 22.
