Afghan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters ended the Tajikistan International MMA tournament with three wins and three losses on Saturday.
The tournament was organized in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan and athletes from six nations have participated including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Brazil.
The matches were broadcasted to millions of viewers by 1TV of Afghanistan.
Afghan fighter Nasratullah Akhunzada defeated his Tajik rival in 70-killogram fight while Nesar Ahmad Watan Dost beaten his opponent Bakhtawar Dawlat from Tajikistan in 84-killogram fight, followed by Shokurllah Qaderi who defeated his Tajik rival in 60-killogram fight.
However, Aghan athletes, Sakhi Zada in 77-killogram fight and Mahfoz Wafa in 77-killogram fight lost to their Tajik rivals.
