An explosion in capital Kabul destroyed a minibus carrying employees of a telecom firm, killing one and injuring 19 including women, Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said.
The blast took place around 05:00 pm local time in Taimani area of the city,second street.
Sediqi said the explosion was caused by an IED blast, however, a security source told 1TV that it was followed by the explosion of explosives set inside the vehicle.
According to Interior Ministry, Kabul police arrested three suspects over the incident.
No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
This came less than a week after dozens of people were killed and wounded in an attack on Kabul military hospital by gunmen dressed in medical uniforms.
